Vision Statement

We are an urban, multi-generational cohousing community where children, feasts, fun and solitude gracefully co-exist.

We live in cooperation, caring for one another, our neighbors and the earth.

We welcome diversity, strive to communicate compassionately, and work together to sustain a network of warm, lasting relationships.

More about us

We value collaboration, diversity, good communication, and respect: for each other, for the earth, and for all who live on it. Our decisions are made by all, mostly using consensus. We are all equal and we have no hierarchy.

We plan to have a good balance between privacy and community, common meals at least three times a week, and full participation in the work of the community, including decision-making.

Our group is currently looking for a suitable site to create our community.

Who we are

We are a multi-generational, multi-ethnic group of families whose dream is to build our home in the San Francisco East Bay Area. Cohousing is a creative solution for those of moderate incomes to be able to afford homes in one of the most expensive real estate markets in the country. We have chosen to live together and to share our resources to make the East Bay more affordable and to reduce our impact on the environment.
